HORIZONTAL AND DIRECTIONAL DRILLERS

Work Location: Australia

Accreditation No: 10420714

Qualifications needed:

  • At least High school Graduate or Diploma/vocational in a relevant field
  • Minimum of 5 years experience
  • Be able to use the tracking system – Subsite, TKQ
  • Can operate Excavator – up to 5tons
  • Complete documents – COE, Diploma, Passport and Certificates

Job Description

  • Operating Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) rigs to bore underground passages for various utilities such as telecommunications, water, sewer, or gas lines.
  • Reading and interpreting project plans, blueprints, and specifications to determine the drilling location, depth, and angle.
  • Setting up and configuring drilling equipment, including the drill rig, drill stem, and drill bits, according to project requirements.
  • Monitoring drilling operations to ensure accuracy and adherence to project specifications, adjusting drilling parameters as necessary.
