Job Description:
- Removing coverings, webbing and padding from old furniture
- Securing material, padding, springs and webbing to articles to be upholstered
- Measuring and cutting materials and covering furniture
- Seaming cushions and joining sections of covering material
- Attaching ornamental trims, braids and buttons
- Stain removal
Qualifications needed:
- With Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Upholsterer
- Complete documents such as Passport, COE, and TOR/Diploma
- With At least 1 year of college completed
- With Experience in removing coverings, webbing, and padding from old furniture
- Skilled in securing material, padding, springs, and webbing to articles to be upholstered
- Proficient in measuring and cutting materials and covering furniture
- Ability to seam cushions and join sections of covering material
- Experience in attaching ornamental trims, braids, and buttons
- Knowledge of stain removal techniques
