WELDERS (MIG)

Job Description

Knowledge of Standard 1554.3:2014 Welding of Reinforcing Steel

• Daily Prestart checklist for all workstations. This includes MEP Gam cage machine,
  welders.
• Read schedules/drawings and job card or read measurements to plan layout and
  procedures.
• Quality check while doing works, quantity, and measurements.
• Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements of
  schedule/works
•  Set up components for welding according to specifications per schedule (e.g. Using
  jigs at both manual and cage machine to match measurements)
• Operate angle grinders, drop saw, bench grinders to prepare the parts that must be
  welded.
• Align components using callipers, tape measure, clamp pieces etc
• Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to companies
  WPS (Welding Specification Specification)
•  Repair machinery and other components
• Visually inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws.
• Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety

Qualifications needed

• Minimum 5 years experience for No Welder Qualification Test (WQT)
• Minimum 3 years experience for with Welder Qualification Test (WQT)
• Experience in using electrical or manual tools (Grinder, Rattle gun, spanner, Drop Saw, Hex keys)
• Good English Communication Skills.
• Preferable with MIG welding NC2.

CARPENTERS

Job Description

• Carpentry Construction: Construct, install, and repair wooden structures and fixtures
  such as frameworks, partitions, floors, and roofs according to project specifications and blueprints.
• Framing: Perform framing tasks using techniques such as platform framing, balloon
  framing, and timber framing to create structural frameworks for buildings and other
  structures.
• Installation of Doors and Windows: Install doors, windows, and hardware, ensuring
  proper fit, alignment, and functionality.
•  Finishing Work: Perform finishing tasks such as trim work, molding installation, and
  cabinet making to complete carpentry projects with precision and attention to detail.
• Material Selection and Measurement: Select appropriate materials for carpentry
  projects and take accurate measurements to ensure proper fit and alignment.
• Tool and Equipment Usage: Utilize carpentry tools and equipment such as saws, drills, hammers, and levels safely and effectively to complete tasks.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety guidelines, protocols, and procedures to maintain a safe working environment and prevent accidents or injuries.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with construction teams, project managers, and other
  tradespeople to coordinate tasks, meet deadlines, and ensure project requirements are -fulfilled.

Qualifications needed

• Minimum of 5 years experience as a Carpenter.
• Strong understanding of construction blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Proficient in the use of carpentry tools and equipment.
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations related to carpentry work.
• Good English Communication Skills.
• Preferable with Carpentry NC2 .
