CNC MACHINIST
Job Description:
- Set up and operate CNC Lathe machines to produce precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Adjust machine settings such as speed, feed, and tool offsets to optimize machining processes.
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine machining requirements and tolerances.
- Perform quality inspections using precision measuring instruments to ensure parts meet specifications.
- Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure machine efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve machining processes and product quality.
Qualifications :
- Completion of an apprenticeship diploma/certificate, Trade diploma/certificate, Vocational school diploma/certificate.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience operating a CNC Lathe is required, with knowledge and/or experience operating a Mazak Lathe an asset. Experience with Mazatrol programming an asset, but not required and programming CNC and Lathe machines.
- Driver’s License is an asset as they would not be near any residential areas.
REEFER MECHANIC
Job Description:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on refrigeration systems, including inspection, cleaning, and lubrication of components.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues with refrigeration units, including compressors, evaporators, condensers, and controls.
- Repair or replace faulty components and systems to restore refrigeration units to proper working condition.
- Conduct performance tests and adjustments to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of refrigeration systems.
- Document maintenance and repair activities, including parts used, labor hours, and work performed.
- Follow safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment and prevent accidents.
- Provide technical support and guidance to other maintenance personnel as needed.
