FURNITURE MAKER

Qualifications needed:

  • Experience or qualification in Furniture Making or Joinery
  • Operating a CNC machine is not essential, however the candidates must be willing to learn.
  • Happy to work in a fast paced environment
  • Requirements are a minimum of three years of experience on the job and
  • Good English skills.

Job Description:

  • Operating 5 axis CNC equipment.
  • Measuring and accurately cutting materials, working from templates and using
    manual and automated machinery.
  • Operating a variety of hand tools to manufacture components
  • Assembling parts and furniture
  •  Examining drawings and work orders to determine specifications
  • Working from drawings and specifications to make furniture
  • Learning LEAN manufacturing disciplines.
  • Increasing your knowledge and skills in a variety of areas including joinery,
    upholstery, furniture finishing, engineering and powder coating

Requirements:

  • Valid passport
  • COE
