Job Description:

  • Assess, monitor, and record patient symptoms and vital signs. Administer medications and treatments prescribed by doctors. Assist with activities of daily living for patients in need.
  • Work closely with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans. Communicate patient progress and changes in condition
  • Educate patients and families about health conditions, medications, treatments, and post-discharge care.
  • Advocate for patients’ needs and preferences within the healthcare system. Ensure proper care and respect for patients’ rights.
  • Quickly assess situations, make critical decisions, and take appropriate action, especially in emergency situations

Qualifications needed:

  • Must have a valid PRC license
  •  Experience is not necessary but an advantage
  • Willingness to study German for 8,5 months (after 7 months they will have the B1 exam, and for the last one and a half month they are having 2 modules of dialect and healthcare language)
  • The German Training is online with Austrian trainers from Monday – Friday (8 pm – 9.45 pm PHT)
  • For the last 2 months of the training, we pay a scholarship of 250 Euro (net) for those who quit their job and fully focus on studying German – candidates who are willing to do it this way are preferred.
  • Willingness to work in a nursing home and not in a hospital.
  • Willingness to do a 6-month training program in Austria to get the recognition

  • Accommodation is paid for the first 9 months, then they are supported to find their own apartment.
  • 14 monthly salaries
  • Social contribution system that covers illness, accidents, unemployment, and pension. That means they get paid even if they are sick. If they go to the hospital or doctor the costs are covered by the insurance. They get paid pension for the time that they are working in Austria from the Austrian government when they reach the official Austrian retirement age.
  • Nurses can bring their families (husbands/wives and children) to Austria.
  • Education for children is for free.
