An OFW or Overseas Filipino worker is a Filipino citizen who is living and working in another country on a temporary basis or a limited time of employment. There are 2 type of OFW. First we have the land-based OFW and the second is the seafarers/sea-based OFW. Land based OFW works in a specific place while the sea-based OFW works in sea vessels traveling round the world.
